TCSOA Members and non members came together in an effort to support the BAIR Foundation.  The BAIR Foundation is a Christian foster care organization that cares for severely abused kids.  In most cases, the children are permanently removed from their homes with only the clothes on their back.  With the help of TCSOA and others, we were able to sponsor 12 children this year. 

The children provided their sponsors with a wish list which contained information about their favorite things, clothes and shoe sizes, favorite store, hobbies and a list of items they would like to have.   Sponsors went out and matched gifts / needs to each child.

This year’s event was coordinated by Sergeants Nate and Karen Gillespie.  If you are interested in providing year round support or support at Christmas, you can contact Nate and Karen at 775.7758.

Special thanks to Orlando Castaneda, Velma Page, Chief Sylvester, Major Sawa, S. Anderson and the Nursing Staff, Lusia Reyes, James Hodge, Liz Jurica, Jason Miller, Bridgette Pearson, Patricia Colvin and last but not least, Christina McAfee, Jeff Spencer, Nelda Pena and Nathan Bradshaw who have supported the Foundation for several years.
