Any employee wishing to be involved in the coordination and /or the facilitation of any event for the 2012 Texas Police Games, hosted by the Travis County Sheriffs Office, please return this email to Major Mark Sawa. Many folks have already expressed their interest in being coordinators for a specific event, however there is still a tremendous amount of room to volunteer your time and talent to assist with any of the events; regardless of whether a Coordinator has already been established or not.
The 2012 Texas Police Games will run from June 20, 2012 to June 24, 2012. The host hotel for the Games is the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark http://www.omnihotels.com
June 20, 2012 is set aside for registration. The actual events will run from June 21st through June 24th. There will be a Banquet / Social Event on Thursday evening, June 21, 2012.

Please seek to answer your initial questions regarding the events at the above link. If your questions can not be answered by the website, do not hesitate to return this email to find the information that you seek.
Please let us know if you would like to be involved in the coordination and /or the facilitation of any of the above events.
There is also a need for volunteers at the event banquet and support personnel at the Command Post, and Area Commands, to handle any number of other sundry duties that come up during the course of any large event.
