CLEAT Public Affairs reached into more political campaigns than ever before during this cycle. CLEAT PAC and its local affiliated politi-cal action committees also set out to build bigger war chests than ever. CLEAT PAC broke all of its previous records by raising and spending more than $110,000 during the campaign cycle.
Once again CLEAT PAC part-nered with all the groups across the state but worked especially close with the larger PAC’s to set up a coordinated contribu-tion plan to match the statewide campaign efforts in the field.
CLEAT PAC never competes with local association PAC’s but works instead to assist the local groups in raising PAC
money. The plan during this cycle was for CLEAT PAC to raise and spend all it’s funds on critical races by the deadline on Dec. 8, 2012. The flip side of the plan was for local asso-ciations to spend considerably less, and hold onto their PAC money so that it will be avail-able for use after the legislative session ends in June, 2013.
“I couldn’t be happier with where we are at this point,” said President Todd Harrison “CLEAT PAC broke all records
in campaign assistance while our local association PAC’s remain relatively flush for the fights ahead.”
